my birthday...
Kenya?
Delighted not to have rude ads, but trips to Kenya? Somewhat unfortunate, given current instability. It's a lovely country and I have been and would go again, but not at the moment...
That said, I do love this!

Valentine's celebrations
My lover was going to be away for 14th so we had our 'celebration' on 13th instead. I had a meeting in morning and evening and he managed some free time to coincide with mine in the afternoon.
I got chocs, card and jokey present and he got home made steak au poivre lunch and card. He was full of a cold and I was distracted by my meetings, but lying together on a sunny February afternoon, listening to the birds was rather lovely despite our limitations.
Ken Barlow to Roy Cropper!
Help! How can I possibly have any status as a mistress when my lover tells me he's morphing from Ken to Roy?
Because of his interests, Guardian-reading and location he has accepted he is the local 'Ken Barlow', but apparently he now has more in common with Roy.
Lover and I (as we do) have been discussing Catholicism in both Tudor and Civil War times and reflecting on 'Catholics having been the equivalent of Moslems nowadays' (and there had been interesting R4 programme on it as well). It was reading book on Civil War that got my lover thinking about it. And then he watches Corrers and discovers Roy is reading about the roundheads and makes similar observation. And my lover went out with his shopping bag today!
So much for my racy lifestyle!
Another nice non-traditional day with my lover
My lover visited this week after a separation of over a week. We took stuff to the municipal dump, had a lovely meal in an out-of-town pub and a wander around B&Q for DIY supplies for stuff to do around my house. Only time for a very quick cuddle, but we had a lovely time.
Thursday we got together again and although there was some work we had to look over together we did get to go to bed and I cooked us lunch!
Anyone else watching that hokum 'Mistresses' on the box? I find it amazingly corny and silly, but rather watchable.
