As well as Friday, I saw my lover Saturday evening and today. Will see him Wed and Fri as well. One advantage to being under-employed is we get to see each other more. Shame about the poverty....

Yes; the best things in life may be free, but love doesn't pay the bills does it? Still it must be good for the soul to have the extra time; enjoy...

Enjoy half-term.
Funnily enough, the first time we met with privacy I DID take travel scrabble and some puzzlebooks in case we felt need to fill time. Strangely they were not needed...

Okay PG - poverty in what? You aren't saying you are suffering with undernourishment from each other are you?
pollygarter [Member] 2007-02-03 @ 00:10
I'm not really impoverished, but since my main job disappeared I have guaranteed income that just pays my mortgage, so have to decide on my future direction if I'm to pay bills and eat.
My life is very rich and I am very content, but at a crossroads. I do need to see where my future lies workwise. Lucily I've picked up some projects that keep the wolf satiated for now...

Count yourself lucky, I haven't got love or money.
pollygarter [Member] 2007-02-06 @ 23:27
Awwwww....Pompy! So sorry about lack of love and money, but you do have style, humour and courage and are chasing the dream at college. Just put in cosmic order for love and money NOW!!!!
Pompadour [Member] 2007-02-06 @ 23:35
I will
First, I need to put an order in to sort my play out.
It's quite entertaining but it has no plot whatsoever.
I will be here all night, I feel it in me bones.

Good luck with the play!

Master Cariad should be paying his Mistress a stipend. After all, he'd have to pay for this elsewhere. And he hasnt left his wife.
Mind you.. Maybe you would get bored if he left his wife? The illicit thrill gone.
pollygarter [Member] 2007-06-04 @ 20:57
As a somewhat modern mistress who's having a love affair a stipend would be vile! frankly he wouldn't get what he does elsewhere for money as it is about emotions. He managed thirty years of fidelity before me.
And as it is that sort of relationship there's more to it than illicit thrills. I don't need the illicit and have never had it before. I'd rather not have the dishonesty, but life's not simple.
I have to acccept possibility that I may be having the wool pulled over my eyes, but I'm pretty sure the relationship is what I think it is. My two best friends (male and female) give me regular reality checks.

But yes - you're right.
